Or going backwards advancing?
—The queen is getting bigger?

As apropriative art, outsetting in a photograph from a scene out of pedro almodóvars film Kika, Pedersen creates the film Is the Queen Getting Bigger? 

In the adoptation of the "kika" photograph, the woman litterally is the underlying element—a woman forced to her knees by a male figure lost in the fascination of what she is not. And if such: does the faith in this woman grow? The image of the woman as something she is not: beautiful, a sylphide, a ballerina...

Is it with Büttger Nilsen as with all of us, that we disclose more of our self in the attempt of hiding then in the presentation? Büttger Nilssen's disposition in meeting with the woman looses him strength; he travels backwards and decreases. Is the Queen Getting Bigger?
